Call for abstracts for ARCH26

The call for abstracts for ARCH26 – the biennial international conference on Architecture, Research, Care and Health – is now open!  The conference will take place June 10-12 2026 in Gothenburg, Sweden at Chalmers University of Technology.  You can find more information here: https://mkon.nu/arch. 

The 2026 conference theme is ‘Exploring intersections between healthcare and the physical environment’, and the call invites abstracts on a range of sub-themes:

·        Design for care – from urban scale to artefacts

·        Society and health for all – public health, health promotion, wellbeing

·        Age and space – quality of life for all ages

·        Health and delivery – organizational issues, spatial planning, facilities development, health services

·        New perspectives – intersections between healthcare and the physical environment that we do not know about
